behind the sewing machine:
Elevated Scraps is a micro-business owned and operated by Heather Phifer (that's me!) in Denver, CO. I like to consider myself a corporate america dropout, dog lover, pilates enthusiast and recently dubbed designer. This venture took off when I started sewing room decor loveliness for my niece, who at the time was not yet born. She is now a toddler and has a brother and two mighty cousins, all of which serve as my inspiration.
the mission (possible):
Inspired by all things handmade, an obsession with fabric and a passion to buy locally, I set out to make, build, create, construct, and craft items that are unique and unforgettable.
saving the planet:
I love that we can provide products that come from upcycled materials like our branches and twigs, When selling locally, I use fabric scraps to make my little birdies and we save our other scraps for fun one of kind projects that often appear in our online store. And we love fabric donations, so if you need to unload any quilting cottons, just give us a tweet, post or email. We'd love to hear about what you have.
